[Perhaps it was his being distracted, or just poor timing, but whatever the case, as they pass each other, his foot treds over her tail. And as with any cat, her tail is rather sensitive. She startles, makes one of those short, loud cat sounds that are both meow and growl, and darts back in reflex.
But unlike most cats, she can actually cradle her wounded tail in her hands, and does so, while shooting accusing daggers at him with her kitty green eyes.]
